Quick tip for Fallout 3 computer hacking : if you click on the opening bracket of ‘closed’ square bracketed sections of code e.g: [x3...st&8] then it will either randomly remove one ‘dud’ entry or replenish all your tries. You’ll know if you’ve found one when the whole bracketed chunk of code lights up instead of just an individual character.

Also PS3 version better than the PC version? Playing a bethesda game in third person? Madness and Heresy! ;)

I agree with Steve. Fallout 3 is easily the best on the PC cuz you can make it a zillion times better: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/

And because you can quick save before you try to hack a computer. Heheheh.

BTW, the merchants in FO3 get new caps and merchandise after a number of ingame days, I think 3. But if you’re running out of caps on a certain merchant, you really need to get out more. Selling that much stuff makes the game booooooring. I don’t want to haul crap all over the wasteland.

    awesome tip thanks Steven!

hehe I’ll let Kim defend her position on playing third person. For me I’m digging the PS3 cause I can play from my comfy couch :) With both SC2 & WoW at my PC, it’s nice to have a game I can play relaxing

  1. Going to Blizzcon? Win a Ticket to the Prescreening of “The Raid”! « The Final Score Podcast Says:

[...] If you’re a fan of World of Warcraft you might have heard about a new documentary coming out called “The Raid”.  I’ve actually been following the making of this film since I came across it in Kickstarter where the director of the film was looking for donations to help fund his project. I was extremely impress with the tone and feel Kevin was trying to achieve with this film.  For those of us who love this game know the stigma that can be attached.  So Kevin’s goal for this film was to show the more positive side to playing this wonderful game and to talk about what it means to be a raider.  So what does all of this have to do with you?  Well if you are going to be in the LA area on October 23rd, 2010 we have your tickets to this awesome event! Yep your only way to get into the prescreening will be through your favorite community podcasts, including Ladies of Leet [...]
